The Vision of the Bewglas Centre in Carrigart, Donegal, is to offer a peaceful setting for reflection, conferences, family gatherings, community gatherings, and churches.
To be a spiritual retreat for the Body of Christ.
To serve the community.
To be a centre for families who need a short summer break, a weekend break, or a week away.
To serve Carrigart PCI as a place for ministry.
To be a Centre for the summer months for different mission organisations and church groups.
Facilities & Services
The Bewglas Centre, on the grounds of Carrigart Presbyterian Church, is ideal for contemplative reflection and prayer. The Church Service is at 12:00 every Sunday morning.
The site is well equipped with a dining room and two other large rooms, ideally for community gatherings and activities.

These words from the 23rd Psalm gently guide the vision of the Bewglas Centre. Here, we trust in God, our Shepherd, who lovingly restores what is lost, heals what has been wounded, and brings wholeness to what has been broken. We long to offer a place of welcome and peace, a space where the weary may rest, be refreshed, and lie down in green pastures.
Over the years, the faith community of Carrigart Presbyterian Church has provided a place for families and the community in the village of Carrigart. Now, our vision is to provide a space where families, individuals, Church groups and the community can experience the presence of God, through spiritual retreats, a contemplative day, and trail faith walks.
The Bewglas Centre is home, year-round, to various groups that use its residential facilities. It can accommodate up to 35 people with four large bedrooms and a single room for three people. It is equipped with showers and toilet facilities.
The Centre also provides a large dining room, ideal for conferences, as well as two other rooms suitable for workshops, seminars and prayer meetings. It has a well-equipped and functional kitchen.
